Prepreg is a sheet-like material made of carbon fiber impregnated with resin. By laminating these sheets, CFRP is made. Strength and properties vary slightly depending on the lamination method. Our standard sheets fit most needs.

Standard Cloth Standard Outer Cloth, Unidirectional Intermediate Layer The standard carbon fiber – The usual go-to for most customizations.
Full Cloth Standard Outer Cloth, Standard Cloth Intermediate Layer Increased strength compared to Standard Cloth. However, Full Cloth is more difficult to manufacture, and is therefore not suitable for detailed customizations. In addition, prices tend to be slightly higher.
Unidirectional Cloth Unidirectional Outer Cloth, Unidirectional Intermediate Layer Unidirectional Cloth does not have the typical carbon fiber pattern on the surface compared to other choices. The tensile strength, compressive strength, and elasticity are strong in the direction of the fibers, but relatively lower in other directions. Since warping occurs due to the nature of this material, please inquire about this when ordering.

We offer various weaves according to your needs. You can choose from the two weave patterns below. Regardless of which option you choose, there is no difference in strength or weight. Please rest assured.

Surface Texture
Twill WeaveA weaving method in which carbon fiber bundles are woven together, skipping one bundle at a time.
Plain WeaveA weaving method in which carbon fiber bundles are interwoven.

We also offer various finishes. You can choose from the following two finishes for your customizations. Regardless of which you choose, there is no difference in strength or weight. Please rest assured.

Matte FinishA beautiful chic finish that impresses.

    I am an individual, not an entity or organization. Can I still order through CFRP Carbon Labo?
    Yes, absolutely. We accept orders from both individuals and corporations. Everybody is welcome.
    Are estimates free of charge?
    Estimates are absolutely free. Just send us a quick message and we will get back to you with free estimates.
    How long does it take for my order to arrive at my door?
    For normal orders, final delivery will be approximately 3 to 4 weeks from the date that your order is confirmed. For mass production or extremely complicated orders, it may take more than a month.
    Can I get a better deal if I mass produce?
    It depends on the item being produced, but we can certainly discuss this if you are ordering 100 or more units of an item.
    Are there any MOQs (minimum order quantities) or minimum order amounts?

    An MOQ may be required for specifications outside the standard (outer cloth + inner UD, twill weave, matte finish), thickness outside the standard (t1.0 to 3.0 mm), or sizes and shapes that are relatively complicated.

    Otherwise, there is no minimum order quantity.

    Where will my product(s) be shipped from?
    Your order will be shipped directly from our trusted and certified partner factory in China.
    Can you help bend my existing carbon fiber sheets?
    Unfortunately, this is not a service that we provide.
    Does CFRP Carbon Labo do dry carbon or wet carbon?
    We do dry carbon.
    For the purpose of getting an estimate, is it possible to submit files other than DXF?

    At the moment, we only accept DXF and STEP files for carbon fiber sheets, as well as STEP files for tubes.

    For other data formats, we may be able to accommodate your request. Please give us a quick shout and we will discuss more!

    Is it possible to machine pockets, countersink holes, and counterboring holes?
    Yes, but depending on the shape, machining such items may not be possible. Please do not hesitate to send us an inquiry.
